Bob,
We run every Saturday at 7:30 am meeting at the Espresso Post cafe on Collingwood's main st. (espressopost.com for location) You are certainly free to join us. If you want we can add your email to our mailing list and you will see the weekly summons to run. We generally do 12 to 14 km but longer or shorter routes are always a possibility.

I'm in Collingwood for the week, and looking for someone, or a group, to run. I generally run 10K to 15K, at an average pace of 5:15 to 5:30 per km. I am hoping to run a half Marathon in the middle of June, so I am doing some speed work and hill training from time to time. Do you have a regular running group, and are visitors welcome If so, what is your plan for this week, and how many runners to you generally have coming out? Where do you run from (and to) and what day and time?

Yours truly

Good morning Post Runners.. I have finally been able to get out and run again, from my stress fracture. Wondering if you have changed your start time yet back to 7:30 would love to join back in.. Let me know the time and your distance .. and I will see if I am up to that yet. Becca

A nice moment on my run this morning, I was running through a tail alongside the Lake, it is a rather icy morning so you need to be aware of your footing, and needless to say there were not many people out. As I was about mid point on the tail I came across an elderly couple I would say in their late eighties. Both had canes in their outer hands with both inside arms wrapped lovingly around each other. As I approached we exchange smiles and good our mornings… I kept that smile all the way home as I though of the couple not letting the weather keep them inside and just this overwhelming happiness that they so silently shared with me… And this is why I love to run!
