I thought I would congratulate my soon to be 14 year old son on his ability to run right along with me. Thomas…Good job son!

Lately he has been coming along with me on 12 to 14 km runs, and doing it with speed, and ease. His latest goal is the Collingwood half. Looking forward to him joining us! I ran 14 km Saturday, 15 km Sunday, and 12 yesterday accompanied by Tom from our house on the ski hill to Sunset Point in the sweltering heat.

I love running here with the great variety of routes. I love running with our group. And I love bonding with my teenagers on long runs.

Share your running stories with a post here at Post Runners! What is it about running that you enjoy most?

I have to tell all of you what an amazing race Shannon had, she biked at around 30km/h and finished the whole race under two hours!!! She is my hero, way to go Shannon! Plus, she did it all with a smile on her face!

The race was a 4km run, then 30km bike, and a 4km run.

CONGRATULATIONS Shannon!

Each team member must complete a leg in at least three of the four stages. Each team member must complete a minimum of three legs and no team member may run more than six legs. It is up to you to create your team’s order to best represent your team’s strengths as they match-up with the course. Compete details (exact leg and stage distances, course profiles, course maps, etc.) will all be forthcoming for you to create your team’s racing plan!

Transportation

Your team is responsible for providing a vehicle to transport, and support, your team throughout the event. Feedback from past events of this format is that this “Road Trip and Running Race put together” is the most memorable aspect of the event. One vehicle from each team is permitted on the race course to support their runner with whatever they need (water, food, clothing, encouragement, etc.) during the event. Another vehicle may “shadow” the course on parallel roads and meet the team at the staging points to provide greater support. We will provide you with details about local RV rentals as nothing beats a bed after 20hrs on the road!

Entry Fees

Registration Fees and Cut-off Dates are as follows:

•	The Early-Bird registration fee will be a $550 base fee and $100 for each additional team member. This fee will be in place until Feb 29, 2010. Applicable tax will be added (GST) to the fee.

•	The Spring registration fee will be a $650 base fee and $115 for each additional team member. This fee will be in place until May 31, 2010. Applicable tax will be added (GST) to the fee.

•	The Regular registration fee will be $750 fee for a 5 person team and $130 for each additional team member. Applicable tax will be added (either GST or HST) to the fee. This fee will be in place up until Aug 8th, 2010 at which time registration will be closed.
